Mugshot - 16 February

My driver's licence expires on the 22nd and I have done the impossible. I have organised my replacement six days ahead of schedule! Another ten years before I have to think about this again. The biggest thing is of course the mugshot. I remember very vividly my boss of ten years ago saying that I'd have to live with that picture for ten years and wasn't it a terrible shame. But you know, I don't look at my driver's licence that often. So I figure I'll just get any old picture for the new licence. What does it matter anyway. And sure no matter how crap it is, in ten years time I'll look so young and fresh faced (hah!) that it'll be a good picture.

For the record, I think the new one looks better (although a shave mightn't have hurt).

Tired mostly. Working quite hard on a demo system for a customer whose budget seems to have disappeared. Oh well. The whole technology thing with the little radio transmitter is working quite well. I do have to fiddle with the unit a bit to get a good signal, but when I do, it's great.

The house is consuming much of my thinking. We still have to decide where the younger members of the family (current and future) will end up, and what room (if any) should be designated an office for me. I'm wondering will I ever buy any more CDs and what to do about the ones I have. Other, less trivial, issues are being successfully ignored.

I'm really hoping to get into some music making again, and hoping furthermore that I can find the time to do all the thing I want to do. I suspect that I won't and that I will have to cut back on my desires and expectations.

I'm still taking pictures though. This is dawn over the wind farm.
